A common thought is that this service thins out the tree itself... in actuality, Crown Thinning is where we remove a portion of smaller branches (usually found on the outer crown of the tree). This gives the tree a uniform appearance, evening out the spacing of the branch structures but does not change the shape or size of the tree.
